Why use Patterson Mastering?

We’ve all been there before. At a dance competition and the cuts are just bad. Really bad. So much so, that you wonder if the routine is over. At Patterson Mastering, you have a professional musician making your edits in a mastering studio setting. All counts will align with one. No weird odd counts or measures. No hard cuts. No hassle for you. We provide everything to make your dance have the musical foundation of success to accompany your choreography. You can alter tempos, and mash-up songs to create your perfect dance edit. Patterson Mastering also provides a 72-hour guarantee turnaround for all cuts, and in some cases are completed the same day.

How it works

Email the song/songs you are wanting to be edited to aaron@aaronpatterson.net. Be sure to include the total time needed for the edit. Ie. 1:30 or 2:15, etc. Patterson Mastering will listen to your song and create an edit that meets your time needs. It can be that easy. Pick the song, share the link of the song, share the total time needed for the edit and we will take care of the rest!

You pick the song and purchase it off of your favorite download source, iTunes, Amazon, etc. Then email the song/s as an attachment to aaron@aaronpatterson.net. This ensures that Patterson Mastering is making the edits to the correct song and version.

Then you provide the time codes (sections) of the song that you want to be cut. ie. 0:00-01:52. 1:59-2:24, etc. Math got you down? We are here to help! Simply submit your time codes with your attached song and we will verify for you the length to ensure you have the time you need and nothing that you don’t.

After that, just sit back and wait to hear from us with your attached cuts for approval. If after hearing the cut, you need it sped up or slowed down (we see you kick and pom routines), that is not a problem and is not an extra charge.

The cuts are sent via email to you and can be in mp3 or wav (CD) file format. We are more than happy for you to have both file formats. Just let us know what you need and Patterson Mastering will make it happen.

Now you have your cut of your song for your choreography. Ready to take the floor with the added confidence that comes from a killer cut.

Payment

Patterson Mastering will accept payment in whatever way works best for you. Paypal, Venmo, bank transfer, check, etc. If you work for a district with loads of paperwork to be filled out, we are happy to fill it out and do whatever we can to assist you in making your job easier. Need an invoice for a booster club? Not a problem. Just tell us what you need, and we will make it happen. Payment is due when the cut has been delivered.
